I’m excited to share compassionate, evidence-based mental health and substance abuse education and advocacy with staff, residents, and families.”

Rose brings extensive therapy experience serving adults, teens, and families in various settings. Her past professional roles include private practice and outpatient therapist, a clinician in both inpatient alcohol and drug treatment and a hospital, mentor in an alternative education program specializing in supporting pregnant and parenting teens/young adults, school therapist, and residential staff in an eating disorder treatment program and at a therapeutic boarding school.

Rose holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from Western Carolina University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Vermont. She is a North Carolina Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Addiction Specialist. Her clinical focus is trauma and related disorders. She has completed Basic Training to provide Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy to children and adults.

Outside of work, Rose enjoys spending time with her partner and their dog on their small organic farm.
