Pat graduated from Ohio State University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health, Physical Education, and Recreation and a Master’s Degree in Physical Education and Recreation from Teachers College, Columbia University. She earned her Master’s Degree in Mental Health, MMH, at Johns Hopkins University Medical School.

Pat is a young and active, almost 96-year-old competitive swimmer who wins medals in every competition and is an active pickleball and bocce player. Pat is also a line and square dancer and plays percussion in the Rutherford Symphony and Spartanburg Community Bands.
She has six grandchildren, ages 16-23, who bring her great joy.
