My work at CooperRiis is essential to me because I am able to share my passion for working with animals and with people, people who may have never had the opportunity to work with a large variety of animals. It is also very rewarding to watch our residents and animals connect throughout our daily work. Animals are very intuitive and are able to pick up on when someone is struggling emotionally and give unconditionally love.
Emily has worked as a zookeeper with big cats and bears and worked as a horse wrangler on a ranch in Moran, WY.
She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Biology at Newberry College in Newberry, SC.
Emily is an avid lover of horses and nature, which she shares with her husband and young son.
