“As an Occupational Therapist (OT), I bring a unique approach to the therapeutic team by helping residents resume, maintain, and/or establish life skills in self-care, leisure, and community living.”
Brittany provides OT services across the entire continuum of care, including CooperRiis at Asheville, The Farm, and The Asheville Community Program.
Brittany earned her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy from Loma Linda University, California, in 2018 and worked as an Occupational Therapist (OT) serving military families and underserved youth in city schools in California before returning to CooperRiis clinical team.
She started her career in mental health as a CooperRiis Lodge Advisor upon obtaining her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Warren Wilson College, Asheville, in 2008 and is proud to serve the CooperRiis Community in her new role.
