| The new “CooperRiis at Asheville” is set to begin accepting applications on 9/1/2020. The phone number for the program is 844-522-1234. That number is live now and will connect you with our Admissions Team if you would like to learn more about the program. This program will work with out-of-network insurance benefits. Our design team, headed up by Co-Founder Lisbeth Riis Cooper with the assistance of the facilities team has been hard at work. Landscaping is spectacular with fresh new plantings and enhancements. Hallways, common areas, offices, and resident rooms all have fresh bright paint. New furnishings adorn many rooms, and air filtration systems have been brought up to COVID precautionary standards. Our clinical team, headed up by Johnnie Featherston MA, LCMHC, have all been diving deeply into what a day in the life of our residents will look like. They have created not only an intensive clinical model of programming but also a model that maintains the CooperRiis Healing Community values and person-centered focus. The interest from not only prospective families reaching out on behalf of loved ones, but also the mental health community as potential referral sources, has been astonishing. We believed this level of care was needed during these unprecedented and challenging times. With our opening day just two weeks away, we are thrilled to have families already seeking application forms. We couldn’t be more proud of our staff coming together to create something that will help so many more clients than ever before.
