Stephanie began as Development Director in August 2022 and will continue fostering family relationships developed over her time at CooperRiis. Her primary fundraising focus is on scholarships and special projects to enhance the recovery experience for our residents. She looks forward to continued connection with alums and families.
“Connecting with residents and their families is very meaningful to me. I have seen how a family’s love and support positively impact the healing journey. I am genuinely proud to be a part of this environment where empathy and unconditional positive regard are the core of our approach.”
Stephanie’s career at CooperRiis spans over ten years. In various roles, she has served the Asheville Community Program and CooperRiis at Asheville. As the Managing Director, Stephanie supported the implementation of the CooperRiis short-term, Clinically Intensive Program: CooperRiis at Asheville. She graduated with an International Studies and Sociology Degree from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
Stephanie grew up in Minnesota and has fond memories of family life and canoeing in the Boundary Waters but does not miss the harsh winters.
She enjoys spending free time with her family at the lake, hiking, and cooking.
